Diesel Fuel or Oil Spill

Have a diesel or oil spill in your parking lot or driveway? How do you get rid of them? Will power washing or scrubbing the area get it out?

Unfortunately not totally.

If you have your asphalt is Sealed with asphalt emulsified sealer, the sealer will not adhere to the area and the spill will rise to the surface. To get rid of that spot you will need to remove the damaged asphalt and replace it with new hotmix asphalt. See the before and after pictures below.
